About Incident Report
I have been told (not again!) what to do. By the way, “not again!” is a favourite phrase of my son. That is his reaction to mostly everything he is being told to do. Well, anyway, at Zip.ca I have been told to take a class in script writing. I can. But I have so much education, that people tell me that I am too intelligent, too resourceful, too educated. Too intelligent for what? To be employed? Maybe. That is one of the reasons for my writing. To vent frustration. To solve my problems. To find out what went wrong. There are plenty of people like me. Not everybody writes.
So, back to writing. I already took some courses at DeVry Institute of Technology, in particular. Even though, my specialty was computers (Information Technology), I had to take general educations courses. That included writing. So, there. Checkmark.

I doubt you covered the scriptwriting in the gen ed courses you took at DeVry. And may be that is why the folks at zip.ca told you to take a class in script writing.
Scriptwriting is quite different from general writing. I do believe that it is a must for anyone who wants to write a script and get it on a producer’s table and not in the secretary’s trash to learn the basics/secrets of scriptwriting
Good luck.

That is right. We did not write any scripts at DeVry. But my assumption is that before I take any courses I have to figure out what I can do to earn some money. Education is costly. There are way too many people who spent a lot of money on degrees that they don’t use. If only in Canada.

And how are you going to figure that out? Unless you give it a try, you will never know if you are good at it or not… am I correct? Education is costly, but it is frequently better to spend a couple of months learning stuff and getting a better job then to just get any job.
Good luck.

Having this web site is my trying at the moment. I want to write my story and at the same moment I am not quite ready to bare my soul. I guess it takes guts. I will do what I can. If I find out that I need some courses, then I will take them. For now, this is my learning. Curve. You see it is very hard to see what is ahead when you on a “curvy” road.
