| I am amazed how difficult it is to see the obvious. It is a fairy tale, beautifully done and I really do not understand why people reject it. Not good enough?! Are you blind?! Just like the mother in the movie, she does not accept her daughter. Period. With any nose. Society never accepts us for who we are. We are always either too short, too tall, too black, too young, too much education, not enough. Girls should be pretty. Should they? Why? Who is the judge what is beautiful and what is not? No, the script is not good enough, the cast is not good enough, the story is just too plain. You know what? You have too much and you take everything for granted. This society needs a wake-up call. Big time. Pick a book with fairy tales and do some analysis. Go back to school, study literature. Open your eyes. I accept this film and I recommend people to see it with an open mind. Please. | |
