The Aquarius Love Mystery

Having reached the Aquarian initiation, the evolving soul feels that it must return to life much of what it gathered along the way.  And so begins a “second childhood” on the level of the Water Bearer, who pours out his knowledge, both determined and anxious to share it before he leaves this planet to explore the exciting realm of the unknown on the other side.

because there wasn’t time to investigate them.  Now Aquarians must taste them all – must investigate every nuance of up and down, left and right, will and won’t.  They delight in shocking those around them, suddenly aware of an inexplicable ability to peek into the future.  Amazingly intuitive and bristling with unexpected flashes of telepathic images, The Aquarian soul examines people and ideas without sentiment, arriving at truth with no apparent logic or traceable effort.

On this level, the soul tends to flaunt law and authority because the spirit actually exists in the world of the future.  Aquarius knows that the rigid rules of todays’s society must sooner or later be compromised.  Therefore he (or she) sees no sensible reason to respect what will surely evolve into something new and different tomorrow.  If violent revolt is necessary to bring about tolerance, brotherhood and understanding, then Aquarius believes the result will be worth the conflict.  However, although they advocate change for the world (and for their friends and family), the Water Bearers remain Fixed in their own personal opinions, private codes and life-styles, reflecting the contradictory nature of the ruling planet, Uranus.

The soul has now acquired a true humanitarian approach.  To the unprejudiced Aquarian, every human being is a friend, whatever that person’s personal values may be, for the Water Bearer has learned that he (or she) is one with all mankind and womankind – and with Nature.  Yet, personal relationships may be neglected, as these men and women pursue an idealism related to the benefit of society in general.  Like the Aquarian Age it reflects, the soul at this stage envisions a golden and glorious future that may be attained only by blasting old customs and outdated ideas to clear the way for spiritual awareness, through the thunderbolt path of accelerated mass Karma.  If more conservative people are offended by the Uranus behaviour, the Aquarian individualist laughs off their disapproval.  Secure in an intuitive grasp of the future, Aquarians retort, “I KNOW” to all questions, then perversely refuse to explain how they know – except to the children, who understand through their own innocence the innocent state of simplicity the soul returns to in the “second childhood” Uranus vibration.

The Aquarian positive qualities are vision, individuality, tolerance, friendliness, inventiveness, originality and genius.  Expressed in their negative form they become eccentricity, neurosis, detachment, absentmindedness and refusal to cooperate.

To Aquarius, love is a detached and unselfish emotion, to be explored and enjoyed.  The Water Bearer understands love’s scope and investigates all its dimensions, but scatters it carelessly, confusing it with friendship.  Physical fulfillment leaves Aquarius emotionally empty and still wistful, failing to sense the mystery of Oneness with the mate – the final truth of love, which awaits discovery silently, in the shadows – the secret guarded by Neptune, just beyond Uranus comprehension.

Turning from the lonely Virgo path of self-discipline, the evolving soul reaches out once again to the positive Day Forces, as the Libra vibration seductively beckons to it to accept, for the third time, the challenge of Cardinal leadership.  In the Libra consciousness, the soul is fully grown, aware now of both sunshine and shadow.  During the struggle for maturity which culminated in Virgo, it has learned that there is in the world (and in people) both night and day – good and evil – dark and light.  Beyond that, Libra is consumed with the intriguing polarity of male and female.

I don’t think I am a film buff. I have seen a lot of films, but I hardly qualify for a person who knows all that much about films, film industry, this and that director.  The knowledge must be very expansive and I don’t have it.

I did indulge in watching movies simply because it was my way of escaping from life.  And lately I do not watch movies for a few fairly simple reasons.  I barely have the time, I have no money and I am too immersed in doing something else.  I indulge more in reading about self-development.  Whether I can show much result for the latter, I am not quite sure, but I certainly seem to have developed more tolerance and patience and open-mindedness.

So, coming from these new heights of being improved me (LOL)…  I wouldn’t have the opportunity to go and see “The Ghost Writer”, but I was lucky enough to make a new friend and she invited me to see a movie to celebrate the fact that she had recently found a job.  The choice of a film we made together, but I still have the feeling that I influenced her choice more than she influenced mine.  The reason I am saying this is purely that our choices don’t seem to be so spontaneous as we sometimes tend to think.

And the opinions we had about “The Ghost Writer” at the end were quite different.  I enjoyed the film immensely despite the fact that thinking back about the story itself I found that it was hardly realistic.  But I abandoned the idea that films should be realistic long time ago.  But everything else gave me pleasure.  The scenes by themselves.  Open and dark and gloomy sea, winds, sand, cold atmosphere, the house with glass walls.  I dare say, the plot did not interest me all that much; I was submerged in something all-encompassing.  What it was exactly, I don’t even know.  But when I found a picture in the review, it struck me again – it was precisely “IT”.  It was my gut reaction to the visual beauty.  It did strike something in my heart, in my mind, it was so much on the emotional level.  Maybe the film very much reflected my own mood indeed.  Quite possible.  I liked Ewan McGregor, he felt so genuine in his role.  And the best thing that he said was “…take it from your Heart”.  Maybe it was not exactly what he said, but I think it was the essence.  I felt it and kept this feeling throughout the film.  I was more in the character of the writer, than the whole political scene that never interested me.  The appeal of Ewan McGregor’s character is that he seems to be open, innocent, naïve, very touching person with whom it was easy for me to identify.  It felt like I could be him, our hearts beating in unison – I go through life making the most ridiculous mistakes.  And his death at the end of the film seems so pointless yet so profound.  In my opinion, of course.

Are You Ready for Children?

Mess Test: Smear peanut butter on the sofa and curtains. Now rub your hands in the wet flowerbed and rub on the walls. Cover the stains with crayons. Place a fish stick behind the couch and leave it there all summer.

Toy Test: Obtain a 55-gallon box of Lego’s. (If Lego’s are not available, you may substitute roofing tacks or broken bottles.) Have a friend spread them all over the house. Put on a blindfold. Try to walk to the bathroom or kitchen. Do not scream. (This could wake a child at night.)

Try to insert spoonfuls of soggy cereal (such as Fruit Loops or Cheerios) into the mouth of the jug, while pretending to be an airplane. Now dump the contents of the jug on the floor.

Night Test: Prepare by obtaining a small cloth bag and fill it with 8 – 12 pounds of sand. Soak it thoroughly in water. At 8:00 PM begin to waltz and hum with the bag until 9:00 PM. Lay down your bag and set your alarm for 10:00 PM. Get up, pick up your bag, and sing every song you have ever heard. Make up about a dozen more and sing these too until 4:00 AM. Set alarm for 5:00 AM. Get up and make breakfast. Keep this up for 5 years. Look cheerful.

Physical Test (Women): Obtain a large beanbag chair and attach it to the front of your clothes. Leave it there for 9 months. Now remove 10 of the beans.

Physical Test (Men): Go to the nearest drug store. Set your wallet on the counter. Ask the clerk to help himself. Now proceed to the nearest food store. Go to the head office and arrange for your paycheck to be directly deposited to the store. Purchase a newspaper. Go home and read it quietly for the last time.

Final Assignment: Find a couple that already has a small child. Lecture them on how they can improve their discipline, patience, tolerance, toilet training, and child’s table manners. Suggest many ways they can improve. Emphasize to them that they should never allow their children to run riot. Enjoy this experience. It will be the last time you will have all the answers.

I am certainly not a morning person, more of a night owl, but these few days are an exception for me.  I just could not sleep.  I got a new job and maybe it is stress, I do not really know.  These guys that I met were not about chemistry at all – all they wanted was sex on their terms – not strings attached.  They need a woman to be on a “booty call” and they could not care less about her.  I am putting it bluntly, of course, they use “normal” acceptable phraseology, but it all boils down to sex only.  But that category was to respond first and first to come (of course! they are motivated)!!!.

That is what I personally do not understand.  I am a caring person; I care about my friends, my neighbours, people on the street and complete strangers.  I don’t have to be asked to help; I am always the first one to offer.

But I now, I learned “their language”, and I see them immediately.  It took me a week to eliminate this category and I have only been on LavaLife for a week.

I did respond to you, because I have a strategy.  I am being pro-active.  I take charge.  But it does not mean that a telephone number is an invitation to bed.  It is part of the process.  First we make contact, exchange e-mails, then talk on the phone and then a cup of coffee.  It is very similar to a job interview.  I am totally done with IM – it is insane and it is nothing but a waste of time.

I am trying to adjust the process as I go.  By the way, I always ask guys how it is going for them, because I am genuinely interested.  You are the only one to give me such a story.  Everybody else says that is going fine, thank you very much.

By the way, I could not see you that well on the picture either.

Do not worry about my number, just take your time.  A lot of guys do not call anyways.  The reason is that they are not interested.  The only thing that bothers me – why then they use the service if it costs so much.

Read this short story “Signs”.  You only have “to flip coins”, when you do not know what it is exactly that you want.  When you know what you want, you will do it.  It is very easy, just common sense.

Besides, I did not understand what you mean exactly by “all or nothing”?  Does it really exist in this world?  I have a lot in my life – my family, my son, my friends and a new and exciting job.  Finding a man is not easy, but it is only a matter of time.  I am a “go-get-girl”, but not in a romantic relationship.  I am a woman and I want to be treated like one.  My femininity is not of a regular quality, but I can bet you anything, these simple and ordinary women have not a clue how to be seductive.  And no, dressing up the part is not enough.  Playing the part requires talent and skill, not a costume.

I never pursue men.  Never, ever, ever.

Weak, indecisive, wishy-washy, boring is certainly not my type.

You know EXACTLY what ‘all or nothing’ means. It exists to 99% of all women! How many women do you know that are in a relationship just for the sex? If it doesn’t come with any more than that, it would be VERY short-lived.

You’ve been on lava for a week? I’ve been on it on/off for 14 yrs. It’s been little more than a social experiment, and the results aren’t encouraging. I’ve found most women are on it for attention, ego stroking, and teasing. I can lecture you on weak, indecisive, wishy-washy, boring, ..not to mention fickle Men have to pay to use the site, so we’re not in it to waste time/effort.

I’ve had a number of gfs off the site, but they were compromises. I’ve always believed having something is better than nothing..may be sad, but realistic.

Apologies accepted.  I was not frustrated at all.  That is all in the past when I did not know enough about people, about myself and I could not communicate effectively.  Now, it became much much easier.  It is a skill, which can be developed.  Well, moving on.  I am supposed to work on Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm, but it might change.  The other person who was hired to work with me, has quit, so the schedule might be different.  You can try and call me, but I prefer when you let me know before you call (send an e-mail or something).  Otherwise I will be in the middle of something and it always feels a bit awkward.

I did not set any fireworks myself.  But my son was invited by his girlfriend to see Fireworks and I saw them all over the city from my balcony (I live in a Penthouse).  But that was certainly not the best part of my day.

Thank you for being there for me.  I appreciate both what you said and what you did yesterday.  Despite the fact that I might make you as uncomfortable as everybody else you are the only one in our group who did not run away from me like from a poisonous snake.  You helped me.  How?  You smiled and you laughed and you went to see art, even though at the moment you may needed your cup of tea more.

But the most helpful part of your help was that you made an effort.  You listened, you understood, you did not criticize my “torturing” strangers.  This guy Christian who did not have to, and did not want to, but with some coaching “went with the program”.  He did tell a joke, didn’t he?  I said I had a really bad day and all I asked for was to help.  The trick is how.  Help me my way, the way that I need, because I already know that if you succeed it will work.  It will work for me. I do not give you any instructions. You figure it out to make your way through the maze.  Not only Christian succeeded but also he did an A+ job.  He made me laugh.  But not only.  He could not have possibly known that his joke would turn out to be very relevant to my situation.  The way I see the point of his story is this.  The family guy could not handle being with others because he thought they were the reason that he felt frustrated (stressed, irritated, unhappy, you name it).  But when isolated and left alone he could handle it even less.  The imagery was gross but it made me listen.  It engaged me on a personal level.  I do not like that type of jokes.   So inside I have this sensation …oh, yuck, I do not like the way it is going…this is really disgusting…  But it was me who initiated “the process”, so I stayed and listened.  I did not ask Christian to make me like the joke.  Well, you were there.  What did I learn from that experience?  Nothing that I did not already know, but something I just could not get without it

I am the problem, when I figure out how to help myself; only then I can help others.  Or not help.

And you told me it was better to do it sooner than later.  Yes, you nailed it, girl. Right on the money.  I consider myself to be shrewd and perceptive, yet it took me only fifteen years to finally see the obvious.  Stop trying to find an understanding where it could not be found.  No matter how much I want to and no matter how hard I try I cannot make a blind person see and a deaf person hear.  It always had the choice to help or not to, a choice to sacrifice my needs for the needs of others.  So from now on, when I feel the urge to help others, I will pause and ask the question “Is it something that I really want to do?” So my action plan is stop helping people.  They can manage.  The trained professionals told me to “feel the fear and do it anyway”.  I did. I made a change today. I can not find words to describe the hurt…  But I managed with the help of people like you.  You do not need a diploma in psychology; you already know how to help people.  Can you do it?  You already did.  You succeeded where a “professional” failed. Next time you need a story in order to prove that you can help people, use this one.

I was totally wrong about the class.  Even though Girl # 7 said that she worked as a social worker and she could help people, I did not believe her claim.  Why?  I do know, but she proved me wrong today and I am glad that she did.   I already sensed that the only relationship Girl # 3 has with Gold is that she has a heart of one. And look at her face when she smiles, it radiates light; it is so beautiful, that I cannot take my eyes of.  And yet she struggles and struggles and struggles, and my god she deserves better.  I was wrong about the girls, at least some of them.  But I sensed the other thing right.  Going to school to learn how to help people cannot teach you if you do not have a heart.

Did you like the story about Tolerance?  Do you think that it describes you accurately as a Cancer?  I did not think that I fit the profile.  Not until today.

I won’t run on like you to defend my positions that you have attacked.  Your response just shows the type of person I thought you might be, which is what I picked up on from you.

For you to actually strike back with such emotion tells me you are not happy and very much in need to find a better place.  The fact that you repeatedly stated that you could not care less, well that is just your defensive side.

Above all, you could have just not responded at all (like my advice to you about unfavourable Lava men), OR simply taken a more graceful route by simply saying a few words and perhaps good luck.  

You did not so this, which is a symtom for you to reflect on and look inside yourself to know this is not a positive atribute to show.

Fact is, nothing you said rings true in my world as I am in a transiant place, have some friends to hang with, and have no shortage of mid 30’s smart, attractive women to date who are looking for quality over quantity.  2nd, 3rd dates are more common than you think for me…..and I am going on one tonight.

I will keep your email reply for the record in case you do mention my name in vain.  Regardless, you need to move on and not bother wasting your time with me as we are not a good social match. 

It is funny that you now come to the surface about “unknowingly” suggesting that you have good material for a book.  Nothing happened and your responsibility for whatever you think happened has not been addressed, so taking something that is not real and didn’t happen is fiction.
